It’s a very well built cover, easy to open and close my 10 year old daughter can open it by herself with ease. It made in the USA and is very eye appealing to look and and once up and open it nice and thin.
Where innovation meets precision—Smartop delivers a reimagined standard in spa covers: the one you expected, and the one you truly deserve.
Great cover. We live on the bluff with high winds from time to time. After going through 2 others in the last few years getting shredded in the wind, this cover doesn’t even move.. Super easy to open, close and latch down. Hose off to clean…. great product.
Great cover, nice design, and lightweight. The mechanisms that support opening/closing are very well made. Once installed it fit perfectly and closes tight to keep in the heat. The cover is extremely sturdy and solid and while it cost more than the standard tops, it’s well worth the money in the long run – The standard tops only last a handful of years before they become waterlogged and unusable.
I highly recommend Smartop!

The Smartop Upright is a durable, low-maintenance hot tub cover featuring an integrated hydraulic lift system. Designed for easy, one-person handling, it opens into an upright, vertical position behind the spa to function as a built-in privacy screen and wind block, all while offering high heat retention and zero water absorption.
The Smartop Upright is built with durable, water-resistant materials that do not absorb moisture like traditional foam-core covers. Because the interior won’t become waterlogged, it helps prevent the mold, mildew, and unpleasant odors commonly associated with aging foam spa covers.
The Vanish XL is engineered for long-lasting performance. Its rigid aluminum structure, durable exterior materials, and closed-cell foam construction are designed to withstand years of exposure to the elements without becoming waterlogged, sagging, or excessively heavy. Built to support more than 800 lbs., it delivers exceptional strength while remaining easy to operate. Unlike traditional foam covers that can deteriorate as they absorb moisture, the Vanish XL is designed to maintain its strength, appearance, and performance over time.
SmartShield is an optional insulation upgrade designed to enhance the thermal performance of your Smartop. Added beneath the cover’s structural system, it provides an extra layer of insulation to help reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency.
Very little. The Smartop Vanish XL is designed for easy, low-maintenance ownership. A simple household cleaner is all it takes to keep your Smartop looking like new. There’s no foam to flip, no special conditioners to apply, and no complicated maintenance routine.
The Smartop Upright comes with a Performance Assurance Guarantee (PAG) effective for three years from the date of purchase, going above and beyond standard warranties to ensure years of trouble-free ownership. Click here to review the full Performance Assurance Guarantee.
The Smartop Upright opens vertically and rests above the spa, creating a built-in privacy screen that also helps shield you from the wind for a more comfortable, secluded spa experience.
